Organ Donation

Despite the fact that the concept of Organ Donation has not been introduced in the Middle East long ago, the core idea behind it and the culture of giving has always been deeply rooted in us. And it has become one of the main missions in my life.

This became a passion of mine after an experience that one of my closest friends went through with one of their family members. Experiencing firsthand the emotional turmoil their whole family went through made ask myself why is this the case and what can be done. We do have world class medical facilities, doctors and support, but what is really missing is the number of consents to donate.

My mission is to increase awareness among nationals and expats in the GCC of the needs for more consents to donate. This will put the GCC on the map when it comes to organ donation and transplantation. To see the GGC’s centers with the shortest lists in legal organ donation across the world.

Being an Emirati, I know as a fact that we were brought up to give back, so join me, and let’s give back.
